Motor Coach Groups...
Here at the Mill we have a 30 year tradition of "doing our best" to accomodate large tour groups. While we try our hardest to greet each bus and give them a little background of Cold Hollow, we can have up to 30 coaches a day during peak foliage, which makes it difficult for us to give attention to each and every group. We will "do our best," but there are no guarantees. We apologize in advance if we are unable to greet and accomodate your group.
Upon entering the grounds, if a greeter is available they will hop on the motor coach. Unfortunately, during both peak and non-peak times tour buses may be asked to unload and self tour the Cider Mill.
Groups can enjoy a taste of Fresh Apple Cider while viewing our rack and cloth press in action or watching our video on the process during non-peak and non cider pressing days. Groups are free to browse, shop, or sample some of our many goodies. Tour Groups especially like the Mill because of the flat, easy access throughout the parking lot and stores, our handicapped accessibility, and our great bathrooms. We have lots of small, trinket style gifts, such as refrigerator magnets, for easy stowing on the coaches. We also, offer a shop and ship area for those guest who wish to purchase items but have no way to get them home!
Feel free to venture the short 30 steps from the Cider Mill's front door to our newest addtion THE APPLE CORE LUNCHEONETTE and a delicious local lunch!
Group leader benefits: Each group leader and driver are offered a free coffee and donut, as well as a 20% discount on all your purchases.
