Our apple butters are made in small batches by cooking the apples in a big steam kettle. Once cooked, the apples get pushed through a "stripper" that separates the pulp of the apple from the seeds, stems and skin. Our fresh cider is added to the kettle as the pulp continues to be cooked down leaving the consistency of a smooth buttery spread similar to pudding. Our Spiced Apple Butter gets sweetened with a small amount of pure maple syrup. Cinnamon and cloves are the spices. Just like Grandma use to make! 9 oz jar.
