You deserve it. First, we take our own bakery-made sourdough bread and infuse it with a touch of Cold Hollow’s beloved cider syrup. Then we hand-chop pieces of fully-cooked Green Mountain Smokehouse bacon and fold them in to the sourdough — a full quarter pound in each loaf! We feed our own increasingly legendary sourdough starter daily, adding cider jelly at the last feeding and then as a glaze before baking. The result is deep, dense and delicious, especially delightful toasted or grilled, and downright amazing as French toast. Deliciously economical, too — a single round loaf (approx. 7.5" x 3.5") feeds a family of four.
